Brighton can probably boast more artists per head of population than any other British city. The artistic community is an integral part of the City’s identity and character. Professional practicing artists are currently working in all fields including; painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, photography, stained glass, jewellery making, illustration, textiles, film-making and new media. Many exhibitors are professional artists and makers with International reputations. The houses also feature guest artists, who may come from outside the area.
