Make sure that your AOH ASH listing is working for you by:

As well as an eye catching and representative image and a succinct description of your work, you may like to include the following in your listing…

Style of work, level of experience, philosophy etc just as you would for an Artists Statement.

The scale of your work (the house organiser may be looking specifically for large or small scale work)

The price point (s) of your work

Whether you have done Open Houses before and/or where else you sell or display your work

Houses might be looking for someone whose work fits with their other guest artists, who is happy to share in the costs and who is available to invigilate, so it is helpful if you are clear on these points in order to stand out.

AOH regularly emails Open House venues with updates from the AOH Directory of Artists Seeking Houses. We also send mailings out to the Artists Seeking Houses mailing list on behalf of Open House venues who have approached AOH seeking help with finding artists.
