On the seaside boundary of Brighton and Hove you will find Brunswick Town, one of the City’s most popular, eclectic, and dynamic regions. By visiting the Brunswick Town Trail, you will meet and see the work of a diverse collection of artists and craftspeople living and working within this unique Regency town. You will also enjoy a historically and architecturally fascinating walking trail within the Brunswick Town Conservation Area, one of the most densely populated areas in the UK.
Brunswick Town is at the heart of Brighton and Hove, and hosts a vibrant community occupying some of the UK’s finest Regency and Victorian seaside buildings. This Trail invites you to enjoy the homes and works of distinctive artists from all around the world.
Kemptown Artists

There is on-road car parking throughout the trail. In some parts, particularly around Queen’s Park and in Kemptown, it is pay and display.

Beyond the Level is easily accessible by foot or bike - much of the trail is flat!

Art in Ditchling
A picturesque and historic village within Southdowns National Park, just north of Brighton. Rich artistic heritage including Eric Gill & Guild Of St Joseph & St Dominic. Family members and many artists in village continue these crafts and skills today.
The Festival Art trail includes studios and galleries.
Enjoy easy scenic walks across the Common, through bluebell woods or along the many local footpaths.
Take refreshment at one of the varied locations with convenient parking in & around the village. Many venues are within short walking distance of village centre.
Dyke Road Arts
We look forward to welcoming you to Dyke Road Arts. Our trail adjoins Seven Dials Artists, running from Stanford Junior School and including Preston Park railway station.
We have more venues this year, but are still a compact trail with all houses in easy walking distance of each other. You will find a wide range of exciting exhibits here to inspire and delight. A warm welcome greets both browsers and buyers alike.

Fiveways Artists Group
This May the Fiveways Artists Group celebrates 30 years of Open Houses. While open house exhibitions can now be found all over the city and indeed the country, it was the Fiveways Artists Group which pioneered the concept back in 1981. Members and guest artists may change but the ethos of the group remains the same: to make art accessible to as many people as possible, enabling artists to take their work to a wide and varied audience.

Hove Arts
Hove is where the Art is...
Hove Arts is a collective of award-winning artists, producing creative work at the highest level. Formed almost 10 years ago, work at our houses, studios and workshops now spans a wide range of media making for a delightfully diverse trail mix.
Artists on show have won national awards and received major commissions from museums and corporate clients, and have exhibited internationally. We’re still a very approachable bunch too!
Newhaven Art Trail
The Newhaven Art Trail expands across Newhaven and South Heighton. All are easily accessible by train, bus, and even ferry. There is free and plentiful parking at each of the venues. To make a complete day out take the opportunity to walk along the beautiful quayside, there is a choice of pubs and restaurants and a warm welcome awaiting you at each of the venues.
Ouse Valley Art Trail
The Ouse Valley has inspired artists for generations with its beautiful villages, stunning downland and rich variety of wildlife. The county town of Lewes is a focal point of the area and has long been associated with the arts.
Rottingdean and Downs
100+ artists in 13 venues, some open five weekends in May and Bank Holiday Mondays. Some venues are open for the Museums at Night event Saturday 15th until 8pm. Plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafés open in the historic village of Rottingdean. A great day out in a beautiful part of Brighton. Easy parking.
Seven Dials
Welcome to Seven Dials – A haven for artists and home to a thriving group of creative individuals. The 17 venues in Seven Dials Open House trail showcase the exciting and fine quality artwork that encapsulates the spirit of artistic life in Brighton. Seven Dials Artists houses are open during the first four full weekends in May. Everyone is made welcome, so come and immerse yourself in the creative sanctuary, chat to the exhibiting artists and unwind among the many cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. We guarantee you an inspiring and memorable experience.

Is a brand new trail, formed this year. It is inclusive and diverse incorporating a range of Open Houses, Studios and even an Art Shop! Come and see work produced by established as well as up and coming young artists, from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds. The work is vibrant, exciting and interesting, and there is a warm welcome offered throughout the trail. We look forward to seeing you!
